SP-8 Mirror
Main Feature: Ligature resistant and practically unbreakable
Dimensions: 18” x 24” recommended, large variety of other sizes are available. 3/4” total thickness.
Glass: Tempered glass - .25” thick, with 2 coats silver hermetically sealed by electroplated copper. Meets DDM-411C and ASTM C-1036-91 specs. Polished stainless steel also available for extreme environments.
Frame: The .75” x .625” type 304 stainless steel (18 gauge) frame has corners that are mitered, heliarc welded, and polished to a No. 4 satin finish. The frame is attached to the mirror back plate with a theft resistant locking device.
Filler: 1/8” thick expanded polyethylene microcell foam sheet protects the edges and the back of the mirror. The filler on the back of the mirror is enclosed with 20 gauge steel backing plate.
Installation: Mirror comes with a concealed hanging bracket that locks onto top and bottom of the frame. Click here for instructions.
Options: Mirror guard for top of mirror, as shown in picture. (Ordered separately). 6063-T6 aluminum, 1.25” tall x 5/8” max thickness.
